Latterally Biased Shoulder Elements
The shoulder element design effectively conducts water evacuation away from the contact area while combating irregular whear (heel and toe wear).

Optimized Pitch Sequence by Size
Industry-wide, typically, the same pitch sequence is applied throughout a tire line.  But the Courser HTR Plus varies the number of shoulder elements based on tire size, which reduces noise frequency, allowing a quiet ride in larger diameter sizes.

Tapered Tread
This design feature puts deep tread in the center and slightly shallower tread in the soulders.  This puts more rubger down in the fastest wearing part of the tire, the center.  The result is less weight and improved we handling.

Optimized Tire Profile
The slightly rounded mold profile of the Courser HTR Plus balances wet traction and long tread life.

All-Season Tread
“See-through” grooves, wide, lateral traction slots and high sipe density provide excellent all-weather performance.

All-terrain has just been redefined.  The Road Venture SAT is a new addition to the Kumho light truck product offering.  The SAT provides exceptional all-season traction, low noise with excellent on-road manners.  The SAT is at home both on and off the road.  The Road Venture SAT bears the Severe Snow Flake mark certifying that the snow traction level is equivalent to a dedicated snow traction tire.

The Road Venture AT is an all-season, light truck street tire with the agility to operate off-road. Expect great driving manners on pavement and off-road – even in mud and snow.

Circumferential zig-zag grooves, along with multiple lateral grooves and sipes, provides excellent driving traction on and off the highway.  Full depth circumferential tread grooves evacuate water from the footprint area, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and improving wet handling and braking.  Optimized tread groove tapers promote self cleaning of mud and snow for better all-terrain traction.  High tensile steel belts and endless nylon cap ply application promote a uniform tire shape for excellent durability and higher speed capability, for the life of the tire.  Tread compound specifically designed to combat cutting and chipping.
